Mirna Draženović’s symbol is a fountain pen that reveals her love of calligraphy. Mirna fell in love with learning the art of beautiful writing as part of the family heritage, from her grandparents. From an early age, she also nurtured calligraphic arabesques through physical movement: she practiced ballet and contemporary dance.

That is why it is not surprising that Mirna Draženović is in Muses (where she arrived in 2013) a creative director. Her refined sensibility for different artistic disciplines is brought to life in the process of interpretive planning, design and content development in collaboration with a large number of visual artists.

She graduated in cultural management at the Polytechnic “Baltazar Zaprešić”. Writing her final paper on the topic of the museum in Zagreb’s Dugave district, she became aware of the importance of understanding the spirit of the place and the way in which the culture of everyday life is shaped. It directs her to the Department of Museology and Heritage Management and the Department of Information and communication sciences at the Faculty of humanities and social sciences in Zagreb. During her schooling, she worked as a tour guide, was a marketing assistant at VIPnet, and at Link2 she worked on a museum documentation management program. She acquired professional training at the Klovićevi Dvori Gallery.

She is an active member of the european association for the interpretation of heritage, Interpret Europe. She is one of the founders of the national association for heritage interpretation Interpret Croatia, where she is a member of the Executive Board for two terms.

Mirna Draženović

Our country is full of wonderful stories that are patiently waiting to be recognized and told. We approach each of them with a lot of interest and dedication. In doing so, we collaborate with many experts and creatives: architects, designers, writers, narrators, illustrators and photographers … It is indescribably stimulating to work with creative people and create new values.
