The Certified Interpretive Planner training was held at De Helderse Vallei in the Netherlands. Organized by Interpret Europe and the Learning Landscape Initiative as part of the Wadden-wide Hostmanship program, the training was led by Thorsten Ludwig and our own Iva Klarić Vujović.

Iva worked with participants from museums, visitor centers, and other heritage sites, equipping them with practical tools for developing interpretation strategies. Through hands-on workshops and group activities, participants explored new ways to communicate with visitors, learned how to transform stories into meaningful experiences, and designed content that makes heritage sites engaging and memorable.

The goal of the training was to help participants better understand how to connect visitors with natural and cultural heritage, create engaging content, and develop interpretation methods that strengthen a destination’s identity.

The training brought together professionals from Wadden Sea World Heritage Site cultural centers, including WEC, Nature Center Ameland, De Helderse Vallei, and Natuurmonumenten Schiermonnikoog.

At Muze, we believe that high-quality heritage interpretation can create deeper connections between visitors and heritage, resulting in authentic and meaningful experiences. Our team designs and delivers tailor-made training programs for museums, tourism organizations, and cultural institutions, providing practical solutions for innovative heritage storytelling.
