On Monday 8th January 2018 the first workshop of mapping the heritage was held in the building of the Municipality of Sežana, in conjunction with the Krasn’Krš project of the Interreg Slovenia – Croatia programme.

The workshop’s gathered participants were divided into five groups, in which they created charts which featured an overview of the heritage potentials of Sežana and the methods, in other words, the media of interpreting them.

Motivated by the idea of protecting their heritage through its presentation and interpretation with varying experience and knowledge of the cultural and natural heritage of Sežana the more than 25 participants contributed to the creation of a new permanent exhibition in the future interpretation centre of karst vegetation as well as  open-air interpretation in the Karst Living Museum.
