Ivana Jagić

Ivana’s symbol is a budding leaf. She is a great lover of nature and travel, exploration and adventure. And such was Ivana’s education. At the end of her graduate studies in tourism at the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb, she decided to additionally enrol in museology and heritage management studies at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb, recognising it as something that she wanted to do in the future.

During her studies she worked as a guard in the Museum of Contemporary Arts, on the reception at the Hobo Bear Hostel and as a licensed guide for the City of Zagreb. At the end of her studies Ivana was employed at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb as a project assistant on the international Sagittarius project. The aim of the project was to promote the interpretation of heritage and heritage entrepreneurship.

She has been at Muses since 2013. She always arrives at work by bicycle.

The interpretation of heritage is a profession which in Croatia is only now releasing its roots and building it foundations, and Muses is one of the pioneers in this field in Croatia. To be a part of this story for me is a great passion! I see the modern and innovative approach of museology and heritage management as a valuable tool serving the sustainable development of local communities and this motives me the most in my work.
